Laboratory FAQs1. What's in a test kit?Each QuantiSpot™ Rheumatoid Arthritis assay test kit will contain a 96 well plate capable of testing 76 patients and provide a multiplexed result. In addition each kit will contain; control standards, serum diluent and reporter antibodies. The appropriate wash and rinse buffers are included with the kit. 2. 3. How often are quality controls performed?SQI conducts over 20 quality control tests for every biomarker in every patient sample every time that we test. Contrary to conventional technologies where quality control tests consist of running a positive sample, running duplicate patient samples and periodically running a calibration sample to check for machine drift, SQI’s technology does it all, every test. We test for the most common areas where an assay may fail including things like standard curve signal intensities, calibration curve shape and intensity, normalizing signal intensity, serum integrity, and fluidic handling. Our customers have said this built in level of quality control gives them confidence in the reported results. 4.
