Thomas E. T. O'ConnorSenior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Thomas O'Connor joined the SQI Diagnostics Team in September 2008. Mr. O'Connor brings over two decades of experience in sales and marketing, sales team leadership, management and business development, during which he consistently exceeded targets as well as grew business and market share several times the industry average. O'Connor has held positions as Vice President of Sales, Business Development Manager, and North America Sales Manager for companies such as Luminex Corporation (NASDAQ: LMNX), a world leader in multiplexing, Beckman Coulter, Inc. (NYSE: BEC), a world leader of automation in clinical diagnostics, and eXagen Diagnostics, innovator of genomic markers and molecular diagnostics. O'Connor holds a B.S. in chemistry/biology from State University of New York. Mr. O'Connor is enthusiastic about the SQI Diagnostics value proposition and how the automated technology significantly improves upon the current industry standard methods for biomarker testing, which are labor intensive and inefficient. He recognizes the potential positive impact in the area of confidence, profit and growth for diagnostic testing laboratories that utilize this technology. He is energized to dedicate his efforts to the advancement of healthcare and the quality of life, and to be a part of the movement to replace the current medical guesswork with precision and accuracy in clinical diagnostics. Mr. O'Connor is based in the United States and will be responsible for building SQI's multiplex immunoassay platform franchise in North America and Europe. |
