Geihan Rizkalla (Gigi), M.Sc., CQMDirector of Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Gigi Rizkalla joined the SQI Diagnostics team in May 2007. Mrs. Rizkalla brings over two decades of experience in pharmaceutical, medical diagnostics, quality assurance, auditing leadership, and management, sealed with certification as a Lead Auditor and Quality Manager. Gigi holds a M.Sc. from the department of experimental surgery at McGill University, Montreal. During her first year, Gigi lead the development of SQI's Quality Management System from the ground up ensuring GMP compliance which led SQI to the successful ISO 13485:2003 certification and the Health Canada license. Gigi has held positions as Quality Manager, and Quality System Specialist for companies such as Luminex Diagnostics Corporation - formerly Tm Bioscience (NASDAQ: LMNX) - and Visible Genetics. In her role as the head of the quality unit, she lead the company through successful ISO and FDA audits by developing the quality management system ensuring continuous corporate quality improvements. Gigi is confident that SQI's strong team, proprietary manufacturing process and the supporting solid quality management system will provide the back bone for ensuring SQI continues to develop and manufacture products of high quality that will meet all regulatory expectations. |
